Exhibition: Tony Cragg

Tony Cragg (*1949) is one of the world’s most successful contemporary sculptors. His works are to be found in some of the most important museums and have been shown worldwide in more than 750 exhibitions in over 35 countries. Until 10th of November some of his sculptures can be viewed at King's Rozvadov.

In 1988 Tony Cragg received the Turner Prize in England, in 2005 the First Prize for the Best Sculpture at the Beijing Biennale, then in 2007 the Praemium Imperiale in Japan and in 2012 the Artist’s Medal of Honor from the Hermitage in St.Petersburg. In 2017 he received the Lifetime Achievement in Contemporary Sculpture Award in New York and was knighted by Prince Charles as Knights Bachelor. The bronze, Murano-glass and wooden sculptures presented here offer a glimpse of the multi-faceted work of this exceptional artist.
