James Chen has won the Prestigious €250,000 Super High Roller WSOPE Event #4

Taiwanese James Chen has defeated a 25-pro-players field in the €250,000 WSOPE Super High Roller Event and won the unbelievable €2,844,215! Heads up play began with Chen leading with 94,000,000 chips to Lim’s 55,800,000. In the final hand Chen went all in pre-flop with ♦A ♦4  and Lim called quickly with ♥A ♣5. With the board of ♣A ♥J ♠9 ♦3 ♣4, Chen secured himself the win with two pairs.

James Chen earlier this year came close to winning a WSOP bracelet and finished second to Stephen Chidwick in $25,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller for a payout of $1,000,253.

This is the first time that a WSOP bracelet goes to a player from Taiwan.

The Super High Roller event featured pros such as Phil Ivey, Paul Phua, Cary Katz, Tony G, Adrian Mateos, Richard Yong, Alex Foxen, Dominik Nitsche, Chin Wei Lim, and others.
