Boris Becker and partypoker team up to raise money for German charity Herz Für Kinder
Leading online poker brand, partypoker.net and their ambassador, Boris Becker, have teamed up to create a one-off charity event at King's Casino Rozvadov, raising money for children’s charity, Herz Für Kinder. Boris is joined by fellow German talent such as Julius Brink and David Odonkor at the invitational event on Saturday, 18th February.
The evening will consist of a Sit and Go where 32 invited players including partypoker ambassadors Sam Trickett, Jan Jachtmann, Beata Jambrik, Natalia Breviglieri and Patrick Leonard will play three rounds, paying a bounty of between €100 to €500 to charity upon being knocked out. An entry into Day 1 of the partypoker MILLIONS worth £5,300 is up for grabs for the winner. Following this, Boris Becker will play heads up against the winner of the partypoker "Beat the Ace" promotion, David Forsyth. The event will end with a High Stakes Cash Game.
Boris Becker, six-time major singles winner, said: “I’m proud to be supporting the great work of the team at >>Herz Für Kinder<<, partnering with partypoker to create this brilliant event. We’re joined by some great names from the world of sport and poker, so we’re hoping for an exhilarating evening in Rozvadov, raising as much money as possible.”
Tom Waters, Managing Director of partypoker said: “We are really thrilled that we have been able to bring these German celebrities and our partypoker ambassadors together to support Boris’ charity, Herz Für Kinder. The evening will be streamed live from our twitch channel, partypokertv, with commentary in German and English to allow everyone to keep up with the action.”
